I initially approached Bitcoin with a financial motive, like many others. In January 2021, I invested $50 and commenced a self-directed research process to gain a deeper understanding of the technology. Through extensive study, my passion for Bitcoin grew and my conviction in its potential became stronger. I also realized that a comprehensive education is crucial to discovering Bitcoin's full potential.

I created The Bitcoin 101 Course to share what I have learned and make the education process easier for others. The program provides a holistic approach to understanding Bitcoin, and its aim is to educate individuals on the benefits of this technology. My passion for Bitcoin drives me to promote its adoption and utilization. I believe the path to adoption is paved through education and my hope ultimately is that this program will be a positive contribution to that education.

My curiosity in cryptocurrency had grown in recent years given the inflationary assault on fiat currency by governments across the world. However, as a long-time equities investor, I found the “basis of valuation” of cryptocurrencies to be elusive. My knowledge of the Bitcoin network was limited and could be summarized by “the mining of bitcoin” and a price that fluctuated seemingly without reason.

Alec changed all that. His deep understanding of the landscape (e.g., currency history, inflation and the impact on fiat monies, store of value concepts) completely transformed my understanding of BTC and what role it could play in my wealth accumulation strategy. Alec’s approach provided the critical framework that I have used to develop and execute my secure BTC investment strategy.
